African American Investment Group Hosts Investment & International Trade Conference on the Florida Treasure Coast

The Hannaian Investment & Publishing Group (H.I.P.G.) will be the primary host of an important investment and international trade conference for minority businesses at the Marriott Beach Resort on Hutchinson Island in Martin County Florida, January 11-14, 2001. The Conference is co-sponsored by the Hannaian Publishing Company, The Martin County Business Development Board, the Martin County Black Heritage Association, and The Council for the Advancement of Minority Business Internationally. For the first time the conference will add an important element of economic empowerment to the Martin County and Treasure Coast Martin Luther King Day Celebrations. Participants from around the United States and the Caribbean will be in attendance. Special Workshop On Investment Options & Programs For Churches & Organizations

A special workshop on investment options & programs for churches & organizations will be conducted at the Hannaian Investment & Publishing Group's investment and international trade conference for minority businesses at the Marriott Beach Resort on Hutchinson Island in Martin County Florida, January 11-14, 2001. The workshop will be conducted by Attorney Edward Dixon. Atty. Dixon is a former General Counsel for the National Baptist Convention of America, Inc., and the Conventions' State Convention, and currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Congress of National Black Churches. Florida Treasure Coast's Cultural Extravaganza in Celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King's Legacy

The Martin County Black Heritage Association will host their fourth Cultural Extravaganza 7:00 -11:30pm on Saturday January 13, 2001 at the Hutchinson Island, Marriott Beach Resort in Stuart Florida. The Cultural Extravaganza will be held in conjunction with the Treasure Coast Martin Luther King Day Celebrations, the Hannaian Treasure Coast Winter Investment Retreat & Conference, and the CAMBI International Trade Summit. The Extravaganza will feature a dinner with live cultural entertainment, music and talent show. Original art and photography relating to the African American experience will be exhibited. Featured speakers on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King from the Memphis Tennessee area, and from Florida will keynote the event.
