I also taught as an adjunct professor at Barry University during this time. I then went on to become an Internal Audit Manager for the Miami- Dade County (local government) for 6-1/2 years. During this time I taught auditing and computer systems classes as an adjunct professor at Florida International University's School of Accounting. During this time, I earned my Masters of Accounting Degree at Florida International University. In 1998 I had the opportunity to work for the U.S.A. Department of the Treasury as a consultant on special assignment for two years in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Presently I have entered the world of academia, teaching full time in the Schools of Accounting & Decision Sciences at Florida International University in Miami. I had actually began planning a reunion around the same time as Stuart Gordon. Another friend put me in contact with Stuart and we have now combined our lists. I'm really looking forward to this. Other Personal Info: I'm presently the Public Relations Officer for the People's National Congress Reform. Prior to returning to work here in January 2001 I was the Administrator of the Guyana Cancer Society for approximately 2 1/2 years. I had worked for the PNCR during the 96-97 Election period. I graduated from Windsor in 1986 from the Communication Studies Faculty. I stayed in Windsor briefly and then moved to New York in early 1988 where I worked for a Relief and Development Agency - Lutheran World Relief. I was Network Specialist and Admin. Asst for the Africa Desk. After about 5 years I decided to return to Guyana from where I had emigrated to Canada in 1977. I am also the Fundraiser for the Guyana Community Rehabilitation Programme as well as on the Fund-raising committee of the Guyana Cancer Society. In my spare time I'm managing the Miss Guyana/Miss World 2001 Pageant which will be held in September. I am married to Paul McAdam (October 1999)- no kids yet. I am looking forward to seeing all my old friends and meeting some new ones. |

Worked for IBM for a while in Nassau then in 1992 started as an Administrative Assistant in the Cash Management Department with McDermott International Investment Co in Nassau. Promoted to Portfolio Manager in the Investment department in 1997. In this position, I was responsible for managing a $450 million portfolio of US stocks. In March 2001, Mcdermott decided to close its offices in Nassau. Since that time, and a little before that, a few friends and I formed a company called DATAVU. DataVu sells multi-channel interactive media equipment, software, and services to the hotel industry in the Bahamas and the Caribbean. My official position is VP Finance & Managing Partner.
