She was afavored Aunt of Sir Lynden O. Pindling, Prime Minister of the Bahamas. Hegrew up visiting her in the U.S. as a child and continued to do so afterhe became Prime Minister. As prime Minister of the Bahamas his visits toher Delray Beach, Florida home was accompanied by the usual diplomaticprotections which the U.S. affords all Heads of State. This sometimescaused curious attention in her modest community. ¹
